Debt Finance Attorney

A leading global law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience to join its Finance & Banking practice in Washington, DC. The role focuses on representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in a broad range of debt financing transactions.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of secured lending transactions, experience closing deals, and familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists. Exposure to Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), debt securities offerings (including high yield and/or convertible notes), and general corporate law is preferred.

Candidates must have a JD or equivalent and demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, along with training and development experience at a large law firm. The ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously and a strong attention to detail are essential.

• 1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
