Growing Debt Finance team in New York is seeking a 1st–3rd year attorney to work on a range of leveraged and secured lending matters. The role focuses on representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on financing transactions and related documentation.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on closing experience, comfort drafting credit agreements, security documents and issues lists, and a working knowledge of secured lending principles (including Article 9) and acquisition financing. Candidates should hold a JD, demonstrate strong academic performance, and have training/experience from a large law firm environment.

1–3 years post-JD experience in debt finance, leveraged finance or secured lending
Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on financings
Practical experience closing transactions and drafting credit/security documents
Working knowledge of Article 9/UCC secured transactions and acquisition financing preferred
JD from an accredited law school and demonstrated strong academic achievement; experience at a large firm a plus
