Growing Debt Finance team in Los Angeles seeks a 1st–3rd year associate to work on a range of leveraged and secured lending matters. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on financing transactions from diligence through closing.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with secured lending and syndicated or leveraged financings, familiarity with drafting transaction documents and issues lists, and exposure to acquisition financing and debt securities. The team offers structured training, access to complex transactions, and a collaborative firmwide platform.

Juris Doctor (or equivalent) from an accredited law school with strong academic record
1–3 years of transactional experience in debt finance, lending, or leveraged finance
Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending (including Article 9 UCC) and experience closing transactions
Comfort drafting contracts, commitment letters and related transaction documents; familiarity with high-yield and convertible note financings preferred
Prior training at a large law firm, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
