Debt Finance Attorney

Debt Finance Attorney (1st–3rd Year)

Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks a talented debt finance attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience to join its Debt Finance practice. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex financing transactions across a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent lenders, borrowers, and private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions.
• Handle secured lending transactions, including drafting and negotiating loan documents.
• Manage closings, prepare issues lists, and coordinate transaction execution.
• Support acquisition financing, including commitment letters, and debt securities offerings (including high-yield and convertible notes).
• Apply knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC and general corporate law to transaction matters.

Qualifications:

• JD or equivalent with high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience at a large law firm.
• Proven ability to work on multiple diverse projects with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Expected annual pay range: $225,000–$260,000, dependent on location, experience, and skills.

• 1–3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions.
• Working knowledge of secured lending transactions and experience in closing transactions.
• Familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists in connection with financing transactions.
• Knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC, acquisition financing (including commitment letters), and debt securities offerings (including high-yield and/or convertible notes).
• JD or equivalent from a nationally recognized law school with high academic achievement.
• Prior training and development experience at a large law firm.
• Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
