We are seeking a litigation attorney to join a global dispute resolution team with U.S. offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston. The practice handles complex domestic and cross-border commercial disputes, arbitration and related litigation across multiple industries.

The role involves managing all phases of litigation and arbitration, with particular emphasis on commercial, maritime and transportation matters; overseeing insurance-defense matters and indemnity/tender issues; drafting pleadings and motions; and participating in discovery, depositions and court appearances.

There is also an expectation to contribute to the team's profile through business development and written thought leadership, and to work collaboratively with colleagues across U.S. offices and internationally.

J.D. required; active California bar membership in good standing
7–10 years' litigation experience in a law firm environment
Experience handling all phases of civil litigation and arbitration, including depositions and court appearances
Strong drafting, research and oral advocacy skills; experience with insurance-defense, indemnity/tender issues and contract analysis preferred
Ability to manage multiple matters, work independently and collaborate with cross-office teams
