An opportunity is available for an associate with 4–7 years of experience to join a nationally recognized Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation department, focusing on the welfare side of employee benefits advice and counsel.

The role involves compliance and counseling work for large, well-known clients across industries including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, insurance, and financial services. 4–7 years of employee benefits experience with health and welfare plans
Familiarity with HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, mental health parity, cafeteria plans, flexible spending accounts, severance plans, and related compliance matters
Top law firm experience or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
Excellent academic credentials
Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills
Admission to the Illinois Bar or ability to waive into the Illinois Bar
