Top-tier US law firm office in Houston seeks an Employee Benefits associate to join a collegial ERISA and benefits team. The role focuses on counseling employers and plan sponsors on qualified plans, multiemployer pension issues, health & welfare plans and ACA compliance.

Ideal candidates will work on benefits-related matters that intersect with M&A and restructuring, with opportunities to develop technical depth in ERISA and employee benefits law. The group offers mentorship and substantive transactional and advisory work.

1–4 years of post-qualification experience in ERISA and employee benefits law
Experience with qualified retirement plans, multiemployer pension matters, and health & welfare plans; ACA compliance
Exposure to benefits issues in M&A and/or restructuring matters preferred
Strong academic credentials, excellent drafting and client-facing skills
