Apply in confidence →We are seeking an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits associate to join a global firm’s New York office. The team advises public and private companies on executive compensation arrangements, equity and equity-based plans, bonus plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation, with regular collaboration across corporate, tax, bankruptcy and employment teams.
The role is well suited to associates with solid big‑law experience who want exposure to transactional work and cross‑disciplinary matters. Candidates will work on matters involving executive pay design and implementation and may also gain exposure to qualified retirement, health and welfare plan issues.
- Minimum 3 years' post‑qualifying law firm experience in executive compensation / employee benefits
- Admission to the New York Bar required
- Strong transactional experience advising on equity‑based plans, bonus arrangements and nonqualified deferred compensation
- Experience with tax‑qualified retirement plans, health & welfare plans or related benefits work is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with corporate, tax, employment and restructuring teams
