Senior-level associate role on an employer-side employment & labor team in the Portsmouth, NH office. The position focuses on defending employers in litigation and administrative matters and advising clients on workplace policies and risk management.

Typical responsibilities include litigating employment-related claims and agency charges, representing employers in court, arbitration and mediation, counseling and training clients on employment-law issues, and managing investigations and pre-litigation strategy.

This is a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be able to obtain or hold New Hampshire bar admission.

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • 2+ years post-qualification experience; employment litigation background preferred
  • Admission to the New Hampshire bar or eligibility to obtain admission
  • Familiarity with state and federal administrative agency procedures
  • Strong written and oral advocacy, organizational and project-management skills
