About the role
We are seeking an Employment Partner or Senior Associate with a strong track record in the education or higher education sector. This is an opportunity to lead, grow, and shape a national employment offering within a market-leading education practice.

About the team
Our Education team is recognized for its deep sector expertise, collegiate culture, and consistently high-quality work. It operates as a full-service education practice, covering governance, student matters, commercial and regulatory work, real estate, construction, employment, pensions, and immigration—all with a higher education focus. Acting for a significant number of universities at any one time, the team offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-profile matters that genuinely shape the future of education.

We are experiencing significant growth in the employment advisory space, with a recent spate of tender wins at group clients. This represents an opportunity for someone to lead and grow our employment offerings in this space.

What you can expect

  • Partners will have the opportunity to further develop their practice within a national platform, supported by strong sector credentials, an established client base, and the flexibility to grow in line with personal and commercial ambitions.
  • Senior Associates will find a clear pathway to progression, genuine responsibility, and the chance to shape workstreams and relationships within a supportive, collegiate environment.

Why join us?

  • Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked Education practice
  • National platform with a sector-focused strategy
  • High-quality, varied, and purposeful work
  • A genuinely collegiate, people-first culture
  • Flexible and agile working
  • This role can be considered for various locations
