We are seeking a talented Employment Lawyer to join a growing, employer-focused practice at a national law firm with a strong regional presence. This is an opportunity to work closely with a highly regarded partner and play an active role in the next phase of the team's growth, advising a broad range of employer clients across sectors including education and manufacturing.

You will join a collaborative and ambitious team handling the full spectrum of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. The role offers genuine responsibility and the chance to develop your own profile within the practice.

Key responsibilities include advising employers on day-to-day and complex employment issues, representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and higher court proceedings, and working closely with clients' HR and leadership teams as a trusted adviser. You will also lead matters with appropriate supervision, contribute to business development, support junior lawyers, and collaborate across the regional and national employment team.

Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 1 years PQE
Technically strong with a solid grounding in employment law
Commercially aware with excellent client-handling skills
Confident building trusted relationships
Motivated to contribute to business development and team growth
Collaborative and supportive, with an interest in developing junior colleagues
Experience advising employer clients in education and STEM sectors is advantageous but not essential
