We are seeking an experienced Employment Associate or Senior Associate to join our highly ranked UK Employment group. This role can be based in any of our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester, or Sheffield.

You will advise commercial clients, including many leading national and international businesses, on the full spectrum of employment law. Our team offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to work on a varied and fast-paced caseload, including cross-border and strategic projects.

Key areas of work include:

Day-to-day employment advice
Corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, business transfers, and outsourcing
Employment tribunal, civil court, and appeal litigation
Collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, integration, TUPE, and industrial relations
Investigations, including regulatory investigations
Strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements

You will be a well-organised, proactive, and personable individual with excellent communication skills and a strong academic record. Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment work is essential. Qualified employment solicitor with 4+ years PQE (associate or senior associate level considered)
Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Strong academic record
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Well-organised and proactive, with the ability to hit the ground running
