Apply in confidence →We are seeking a qualified associate with 3+ years of experience to join our Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice as a transactional energy/infrastructure associate. This role is open to candidates in our New York, DC, Los Angeles, and Houston offices; please apply to your office of interest.
- Represent sponsors, developers, investors, financial institutions, and other market participants in renewable and energy transition finance and M&A transactions.
- Handle project finance and tax equity transactions in the U.S. renewables and power sector, as well as energy project development work.
- Negotiate material project agreements (e.g., PPA, EPC, O&M).
Ideal candidates will be team players with strong interpersonal skills, capable of managing complex transactions, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and comfortable with client interaction. Prior law firm experience is required. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the local jurisdiction.
- 3+ years of transactional experience in energy and infrastructure, with a focus on renewable energy and energy transition.
- Experience in project finance and/or tax equity transactions in the U.S. renewables and power sector.
- Experience negotiating material project agreements such as PPAs, EPC contracts, and O&M agreements.
- Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Prior law firm experience required.
