An established practice is seeking a mid-level or senior associate (4–7 years of experience) to join its ERISA and Executive Compensation group in Silicon Valley.

The role involves advising public and private companies on tax and securities law matters relating to equity-based arrangements and other incentive compensation plans. Candidates should be comfortable working within teams and independently managing components of transactions.

Additional experience with ERISA and employee benefit plans is a plus. The firm offers a collaborative, collegial and entrepreneurial environment with opportunities to work across practice areas and geographies.

4–7 years of relevant experience in ERISA and executive compensation
Experience representing public and private companies on tax and securities law issues in connection with equity-based arrangements and incentive compensation plans
Ability to work in teams and independently manage transaction components
Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission preferred
