Top-tier Washington office seeks an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits associate to join the employment & labor team. The role involves working on complex compensation and benefits matters across transactional and corporate contexts, including change-in-control situations, equity compensation, and disclosure obligations for public companies.

You'll work on assignments tied to M&A, restructurings, IPOs, financings and related transactions, advising issuers and sponsors on plan design, drafting, and regulatory compliance. The team offers significant exposure to senior lawyers and varied transactional workflows.

  • 3–6 years' post-qualification experience in executive compensation and employee benefits law.
  • Experience with transactional matters (M&A, restructurings, IPOs, financings) and change-in-control arrangements.
  • Familiarity with public company executive compensation disclosure preferred.
  • Strong drafting skills, transactional experience, and ability to manage competing deadlines in a team environment.
