Finance & Banking Associate (Private Equity) — Chicago

A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its private equity group in Chicago. The role focuses on finance and banking matters with significant exposure to private equity transactions.

The successful candidate will work on broad corporate matters, with particular emphasis on mezzanine debt and private equity transactions. The practice is active across a range of debt and equity financings, and the firm values a collaborative approach to complex deals.

While Chicago is the primary location for this position, candidates interested in other offices may also be considered. All applicants must be admitted to the state bar of their intended office location.

• At least four years of broad corporate experience
• Experience as second chair on mezzanine debt or private equity transactions
• Admission to the state bar of the relevant office location
• Experience with SBIC funds is preferred but not required
