Apply in confidence →A leading law firm is seeking a junior associate to join its transactional U.S. ERISA practice in Chicago. The practice advises lenders, financial institutions, and private investment funds on ERISA compliance matters arising in complex financing transactions.
The work includes fund financings, acquisition financings, leveraged finance transactions, bridge loans, and syndicated and bilateral financings, both domestic and cross-border. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and brings strong writing and analytical skills.
The position follows a hybrid-work arrangement combining in-office attendance on designated anchor days with remote flexibility on other days.
- One to two years of relevant experience (JD 2025–2024)
- Sophisticated law firm experience in transactional work
- Excellent law school academic credentials
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Admission to the Illinois bar
