We are seeking a skilled associate to join our Dallas office, focusing on commercial disputes and financial services litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a full-service, Am Law 100 firm's Complex Business & Commercial Litigation practice, handling state and federal cases, including appeals and regulatory proceedings.

Responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload from initiation through resolution, including hearings across Texas.
Conducting thorough factual and legal research and analysis.
Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case documents.
Communicating effectively with clients and supervising attorneys.

Our Financial Services team defends financial institutions and other clients in actions involving consumer finance statutes (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA, Dodd-Frank) and consumer protection laws, including the TCPA and state unfair trade practices acts.

Minimum of 2 to 7 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in financial services or business/commercial litigation.
Licensed in Texas.
Strong writing and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with federal and state court practice, including procedural rules and practices.
Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, and significant case management.
Ability to learn new substantive legal topics as needed.
Hearing experience is a plus.
