We are seeking General Commercial lawyers in Brisbane with strong contracting experience to work as consultants. Minimum 4 years' legal experience
Current practising certificate
Right to live and work in Australia
Essential general commercial contracting experience, ideally across a range of industries such as financial services, consumer/retail, energy and resources, government, construction and infrastructure, education, leisure and gaming, mining, TMT and transport
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers, including areas such as property, technology, privacy and data, intellectual property, credit and financing
M&A and joint venture experience helpful, particularly integration of new businesses into existing corporate structures
Procurement experience highly sought after
Advantageous: advice on competition and consumer law, privacy, product safety and labelling; disputes and investigations experience (litigation, insolvency/debt recovery, regulatory investigations); employment law knowledge
Ability to hit the ground running, work autonomously and prioritise
Confident as a hands-on 'doer' who understands and adapts to business needs
Strong senior stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills, commercial acumen and client service focus
