An Am Law 50 firm
Apply in confidence →Our client, a leading Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Investment Management team. The role focuses primarily on private fund formation, with an emphasis on private equity, private credit, real estate and other real assets, entertainment and venture capital funds.
The team advises private fund sponsors on the formation and offering of various U.S. and international pooled investment vehicles and bespoke fund-of-one arrangements, and counsels on new laws and regulations applicable to private funds and their managers. The group also represents institutional investors in allocating capital to private fund investments, including primary, secondary and co-investment transactions.
The associate will work closely with investment advisory firms on operational matters such as internal governance, investment adviser compliance, carried interest and co-investment arrangements, spinouts, GP stakes, secondaries, reorganizations, fund restructurings and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions. Collaboration with industry teams advising on portfolio assets—including private equity, real estate finance, EB-5 project finance, and consumer finance and fintech—offers the chance to develop specialized expertise.
