We are seeking a commercially minded legal professional to join our Legal & Regulatory team, supporting the review, negotiation and management of contracts with clients, suppliers and third-party providers. The role ensures that legal, regulatory, data protection, information security and commercial risks are identified and appropriately mitigated.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure that commercial arrangements are legally robust, commercially sound and aligned with the obligations of a regulated legal services provider. Beyond contract work, you will advise on legal and regulatory developments, develop practical guidance and policies, and help promote a strong culture of compliance, risk awareness and operational excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a global firm's operations, contributing to the implementation of new technologies, systems and third-party services, and to support internal committees and governance forums on new products, services and business initiatives. The role is open across multiple office locations, with occasional travel between sites when required.

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience
  • Experience gained within a leading City, national or major regional law firm, or an equivalent in-house environment
  • Strong working knowledge of the SRA regulatory framework
  • Significant experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide practical, risk-based and commercially focused advice
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical guidance
  • Desirable: experience in data protection, information security, technology-related matters, governance committees or supplier risk assessments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between offices
