A leading global law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney to join its Technology Companies Group (TCG). This role is part of the firm's dedicated Innovation team and can be based in any U.S. office, with consideration for fully remote U.S. locations.

The Innovation Attorney will drive efforts to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies across the practice through the combination of people, process, and technology. Reporting to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation and collaborating closely with TCG leadership and lawyers across offices, the role blends legal practice insight with project management and technology adoption.

Core work includes leading practice digitalization and automation projects, integrating generative AI and other legal technology into the practice, serving as product manager for select tools, and designing and testing AI-powered workflow agents with appropriate guardrails and quality controls. The attorney will also advance a deal-data dashboard as a strategic tool, build and automate knowledge and precedent libraries, and translate deal data into insights, benchmarks, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

  • J.D. from an accredited institution and admission to practice in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of five years of experience at a large law firm, focused on private offerings, venture capital, and transactions for emerging companies
  • Demonstrated familiarity with legal technology and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and generative AI in legal services
  • Experience designing AI-powered workflows or agents
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex ideas in plain terms
  • Strong analytical, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter able to work independently with good judgment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and client-service skills
  • Availability to travel as necessary
