About the Role

Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking experienced insolvency lawyers to join its growing Insolvency & Recoveries team in Birmingham. Both Partners and Senior Associates ready to step into Partnership will be considered.

The team advises on all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency, representing insolvency practitioners, lenders, businesses, and directors. The role spans contentious and non-contentious work, including business recovery, restructuring, and turnaround situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on corporate and personal insolvency matters
• Handling director disqualification and insolvency litigation
• Managing debt recovery and enforcement work
• Dealing with winding-up and bankruptcy proceedings
• Working on secured lending and retention of title issues
• Advising on CVAs, pre-packs, and administrative receiverships
• Handling HMRC-related tax disputes
• Managing partnership insolvency matters
• Dealing with Third Party Rights Against Insurers Act claims

You should have a passion for business development and the drive to build a successful practice. • Senior Associate or Partner level experience in insolvency and restructuring
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate and personal insolvency law
• Demonstrable commercial acumen
• Proven business development skills
• Experience handling contentious and non-contentious matters
