A full-service Am Law 100 firm is seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice in its Tampa, FL office. The role focuses on interpreting contracts across all lines and representing insurers in complex coverage claims, including monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts nationwide.

The practice represents primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies across virtually every line of business. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions involving first-party property and general liability matters.

Well-qualified candidates with relevant experience may be considered for partnership opportunities. The firm also welcomes talented litigators with substantive experience in other litigation arenas who have a demonstrated interest in insurance law and want to grow within a collaborative practice.

2–15 years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions on first-party property and general liability matters
Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions
Strong research and writing skills
Admission to the Florida Bar
