Insurance Defense Associate — Los Angeles

Leading U.S. law firm seeks a litigation associate to join its Los Angeles insurance-defense team. The role focuses on defending insurers in complex pretrial and trial matters across personal injury, products liability, construction defect, mass torts, and related claims.

The successful candidate will handle motion practice and discovery, work as part of regional and national defense teams, and be expected to manage cases independently while collaborating with senior counsel. California bar admission is required.

• 4-7 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Demonstrated experience with pretrial filings, motion practice, and discovery in complex litigation (products liability, personal injury, construction, mass torts)
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage caseloads independently and work collaboratively on national/regional teams
• Admission to the California bar required
