A globally ranked law firm serving insurers and the London market is seeking talented attorneys to join its national and international insurance defense practice, based in its New York office.

The role offers substantial hands-on litigation work, from developing litigation strategy and engaging with clients and opposing counsel through to depositions, motions, mediations and trial. The team's core focus is construction defense of owners and contractors under the New York Labor Law, alongside premises liability, professional liability, negligent security, wrongful death, automobile and sexual misconduct claims.

3+ years of relevant litigation experience, including construction defense of owners and contractors under New York Labor Law sections 200, 240(1) and 241(6)
Additional experience in premises liability, professional liability, negligent security, wrongful death, automobile or sexual misconduct claims is welcomed
Proven ability to propose litigation strategy, draft reports, pleadings, discovery and motions, take and defend depositions, argue motions and participate in mediations and trials
Admitted and in good standing in New York; admissions in other states a plus
