Seeking an experienced insurance recovery associate to join a nationally recognized insurance recovery and counseling team in New York. The role involves handling complex policyholder-side matters, including coverage disputes, recovery litigation, arbitration, and strategic counseling across multiple lines of coverage.

Responsibilities include analyzing commercial insurance policies and endorsements, drafting coverage analyses and pleadings, managing discovery and motion practice, and collaborating with clients, brokers, insurers, and defense counsel. The position offers meaningful client contact and opportunities to work closely with senior lawyers in a collaborative environment.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery, coverage litigation, or policyholder counseling
Proven experience representing policyholders on coverage disputes and recovery matters
Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage litigation tasks independently while contributing to a team; high professionalism and attention to detail
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the applicable state bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
