Top-tier national practice is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Investment Funds group with a focus on venture capital and growth equity sponsors. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices and will work on a broad range of fund matters for leading sponsor clients.

Typical work includes fund formation and fundraising, sponsor governance and ownership arrangements, management company and general partner structuring, succession and compensation matters, and operational and regulatory issues affecting investment management platforms. The team is highly active in market-leading fund work and provides deep sector-focused intelligence to clients.

3-6 years of corporate or investment funds experience at a major national or international law firm
Direct experience with formation, structuring and fundraising of venture capital and growth equity funds
Knowledge of sponsor governance, management company/GP structures, compensation and economics arrangements
Strong drafting, deal-management and client-facing experience; excellent academic credentials
