Apply in confidence →Seeking a partner-track associate to join a national investment management practice focused on private markets and alternative asset strategies. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices and will sit on a collaborative, cross-office team.
Work will include advising institutional investors and private funds on fund investments, fund formation, governance, regulatory and transactional matters across private equity, hedge, venture, real estate, infrastructure, credit and other alternatives. Candidates with experience at the intersection of investment management and structured finance (e.g., securitizations, fund finance, rated feeders, private credit structures) are especially encouraged to apply.
The team values strong drafting and analytical skills, commercial judgment, client-facing experience, and the ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, with opportunity for partner-track progression.
- 3–8 years of relevant associate experience in investment management, fund formation, or related transactional/regulatory work
- Experience representing institutional investors (pension plans, insurers, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices) or advising private funds
- Practical experience with subscription agreements, side letters, IMAs, separate account documentation, co-investments, continuation vehicles and secondaries
- Experience in structured finance, securitizations, fund finance, or private credit strongly preferred
- Excellent drafting, analytical and client-counseling skills; strong academic credentials
