Experience: 2–6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, including post-grant proceedings. Ideal candidates will have a background in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or another life sciences discipline, and experience working within the IP department of a comparable law firm. Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in underlying case analyses and develop case strategy.
- Conduct factual and legal research; draft pleadings and motions.
- Engage in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages, including depositions and expert discovery.
- Draft dispositive and discovery motions and claim construction briefing.
- Participate in pre-trial and trial activities.
- Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel, and take an active role in strategic development.

- Undergraduate or master's degree in a life sciences discipline (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field).
- 2–6 years of patent litigation experience, including in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB.
- Experience with ANDA or other life sciences patent litigation.
- Comfort with court appearances, depositions, and direct client and opposing counsel communication.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
