Our client, a leading law firm, seeks a mid-level associate to join its Intellectual Property Litigation team in San Diego, focusing on life sciences patent disputes including ANDA matters.

The role involves active case strategy development, direct client and opposing counsel communication, and hands-on litigation work such as depositions and courtroom appearances. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, creative environment and is eager to take on substantive responsibility.

2–6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB (post-grant proceedings)
Experience with ANDA and/or other life sciences patent litigation
Undergraduate or master’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline
Experience in a comparable law firm’s IP department
Strong academic credentials from a law school
Excellent writing skills
Comfort with client and opposing counsel interactions, and willingness to take depositions and appear in court
