Junior Associate - Abuse & Neglect - Manchester

We are seeking a Junior Associate to join our Abuse & Neglect team, based in Manchester. This role is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer with experience in a busy, high-volume environment to develop their career within abuse and neglect claims.

Working closely with Associates and Senior Associates, you will assist with the management and progression of abuse claims caseloads. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload and the chance to develop technical knowledge and case management skills within a supportive and experienced team.

Key responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day management of claims, drafting correspondence and documentation, reviewing evidence, liaising with clients and other parties, and maintaining accurate case files. You will manage tasks and deadlines effectively across a volume caseload and collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient progression of matters.

This position is ideal for a Junior Associate with a solid grounding in volume claims work who is looking to broaden their experience and build a career in a specialist area.

• Qualified solicitor at Junior Associate level.
• Previous experience working with a claims portal, ideally within a volume litigation or claims-handling team.
• Experience managing or assisting with a high volume of matters and competing deadlines.
• Strong organisational and case management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively and supporting more senior lawyers.
