Junior Associate, Private Equity Debt Finance — Santa Monica

Leading US law firm seek a junior associate to join its Debt Finance group in Santa Monica. The role focuses on leveraged finance matters supporting private equity-backed transactions and acquisition financings.

Typical matters include representation of private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on term and revolving loan facilities. The team values collaborative, transactional drafting and negotiation across credit agreements, commitment papers and related collateral documentation.

• Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks or private credit lenders on term and revolving loan facilities (leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, growth financings)
• Strong drafting and negotiation experience with credit agreements, commitment papers and security/collateral documentation
• Outstanding academic credentials and prior comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
