Mid-Level Associate, Private Equity Debt Finance — Santa Monica

Small- to mid-market private equity debt finance role in the firm’s Santa Monica office. The team represents private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, growth financings and related credit facilities.

The associate will work on drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents, and will collaborate with deal teams across practices. The group emphasizes a collegial, cross-practice approach and offers exposure to sponsor-side and lender-side transactions.

• Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks or private credit lenders on leveraged finance transactions (term and revolving facilities)
• Proven ability drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents
• Outstanding academic credentials and prior experience at a comparable law firm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
