About the Team
Our Real Estate department is recognized as one of the leading teams in the Spanish market and has been involved in the sector’s most complex transactions in recent years.
The Madrid team works closely with our international real estate practice, advising global clients on cross-border matters. Our clients include major institutional investors, banks, insurers, pension funds, and real estate companies.
The Role
We are seeking a Junior Associate with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably gained at a top-tier firm, to join our Real Estate practice in Madrid. Fluency in English is essential.
Key Practice Areas
- Legal due diligence on real estate assets and debt
- Sale and lease-back transactions (including hypermarkets, logistics warehouses, offices, and landmark buildings)
- Investment and divestment in all types of real estate assets and development, construction, and investment companies
- Urban development and planning advice
- Structuring and establishing joint ventures between international investors and local developers
- Financing of real estate transactions, including acquisition financing, refinancing, and syndication
- Debt restructuring and acquisition of NPL and REO portfolios
- Leasing arrangements and asset management agreements

Requirements
- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a top-tier law firm
- Strong academic record
- Specialization or significant experience in Real Estate law
- Advanced level of English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Proactive, team-oriented, and client-focused mindset
