Apply in confidence →Midlevel associate opportunity in a busy Labor & Employment group in Seattle. The team is looking for a 4–7 year associate with substantial employment litigation experience to handle individual and class-action matters, wage-and-hour cases, and client counseling.
Day-to-day work includes drafting dispositive and discovery briefing, opposing class-certification motions, preparing long-form settlement documents in collective/class matters, and conducting depositions and court appearances. Candidates will also advise on employment policies, handbooks, leaves and accommodations, and may support labor due diligence on M&A transactions.
The role requires the ability to manage matters, lead client interactions, and supervise junior associates. The position is offered on a hybrid working basis.
- J.D. and admission to the relevant state bar
- 4–7 years of employment & labor litigation experience
- Proven courtroom and deposition experience; federal practice experience preferred
- Strong legal writing and research skills; experience drafting summary judgment and class-related briefing
- Experience with wage & hour matters, class/collective actions, and client counseling
- Ability to manage matters, lead teams and supervise junior associates; federal clerkship preferred
