A highly regarded law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Labor & Employment Department in the Boston office. The role involves representing employers in litigation and advisory matters across a full range of workplace issues.

The position offers broad exposure to both contentious and counseling work, including defending employers in federal and state courts, in arbitration, and before government agencies. Traditional labor experience is a welcome plus but not essential.

Candidates should bring 4–6 years of employment law experience and the ability to handle sophisticated matters with strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

4–6 years of labor and employment experience
Experience representing employers in federal and state courts, arbitration, and before government agencies
Advisory experience covering discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
Wage and hour compliance and disputes, including class and collective actions
Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local leave laws
Experience with breach of contract and whistleblower claims
Enforcement and defense of noncompete and non-solicitation agreements
Experience with electronic discovery and related tools; willingness to adopt approved AI tools
Excellent academic credentials, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Active Massachusetts license in good standing
Traditional labor experience a plus
