Senior Labor & Employment Litigation Partner (California)

Our client, a large, full-service firm with offices across the US and Canada, is seeking a senior labor and employment partner to join its national practice. This is an open, priority search for the firm, which has struggled to fill the role. The position is based anywhere in California, with Northern California, Southern California, and San Francisco all viable.

• Role: Senior partner-level role focused on employee litigation at a trial-chair level, not just advisory or counseling work. The ideal candidate will have deep experience defending wage and hour class actions, including PAGA matters specific to California.
• Practice: Labor & Employment, with a focus on high-stakes employee litigation and complex wage and hour disputes.

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation.
• Experience chairing trials in employment matters, with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws, including PAGA.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases from inception through trial.
• Excellent client relationship skills and a book of business that is portable and well-established.
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
