We are working on behalf of a well-regarded AMLA 100 law firm with a strong national footprint and a distinctly collegial, transparent partnership culture. The firm is looking for two seasoned tax partners to join its national tax practice, with flexibility on location anywhere in the United States (with the exception of New York, which is being handled separately).

The firm is a domestic-only, mid-sized firm serving the middle market, with top-quartile financial metrics and a genuine partnership ethos: close-knit, collaborative, and built on trust. Revenue is predominantly transactional, and the tax practice sits at the heart of the firm’s busiest matters.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a senior tax partner who thrives on variety and wants to be part of a platform where partners know each other, like each other, and work together.

• Senior-level tax partner, with the maturity and presence to operate as a true partner from day one.
• Genuine generalist across tax: M&A (primary), plus funds, emerging company/startups, bankruptcy, capital markets, debt, and derivatives.
• Ability to handle all aspects of sophisticated tax work across a wide range of transactional practices—this is not a specialist seat.
• No portable book of business required; however, candidates with a following are welcome.
• Collegial, no-ego, team-first approach that aligns with the firm’s renowned “no asshole” policy.
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
