Labor & Employment Remote Hourly Counsel

Join a nationally focused Labor & Employment team as a fully remote, hourly counsel on an innovative staffing group that handles a broad range of employer-side matters. This role is designed for experienced litigation practitioners who want substantive, high-quality work without a traditional full‑time, partner‑track commitment.

The team operates on a flexible, project-driven basis: you will accept discrete engagements, work alongside more senior litigation lawyers, and use firm-supported tools and processes to serve clients across multiple jurisdictions. The position is remote, tied to a home office but aligned with a national office for administrative purposes.

• 5+ years of progressively responsible employment litigation experience, preferably representing management.
• Experience in federal and state court practice and with administrative agencies (EEOC, DOL, and other federal/state/local agencies).
• Strong litigation skills: drafting responsive pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing dispositive motions (including summary judgment).
• Experience handling EEOC charges and agency investigations, drafting position statements, representing clients at fact‑finding conferences, mediations/conciliations, and negotiating settlements.
• Collegial, collaborative approach and ability to work with senior lawyers sharing best practices and resources.
• Desire for flexible, non‑partner‑track work; no marketing or origination obligations required.
• Strong time management and flexibility; ideally able to commit to approximately 1,000+ hours per year depending on casework.
• Active bar license in your state of residence and in at least one state where the employer maintains an office.
