Apply in confidence →We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join a nationally ranked Labor & Employment department, working at the intersection of employment law, executive mobility, and corporate transactions. This is a strategic advisory role rather than a traditional employment litigation position — our team counsels on high-stakes workforce matters that directly affect enterprise value, leadership continuity, and transaction success.
Working closely with nationally recognized Healthcare, Private Equity, and M&A teams, you will advise corporate clients and private equity sponsors on employment issues arising from acquisitions, divestitures, leadership transitions, restrictive covenant disputes, and post-closing integration. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a key resource to deal teams on sophisticated matters requiring seasoned judgment and the ability to move quickly.
This is an opportunity to build a practice blending strategic advisory work, risk assessment, transactional counseling, and crisis management in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment where contributions are visible and valued.
- Senior associate or counsel-level experience in labor and employment law
- Experience counseling on workplace policies, compliance, employee relations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour issues
- Experience with restrictive covenants and wage misclassification, including drafting and enforceability of non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality obligations
- Experience leading employment-related due diligence in corporate and private equity transactions
- Ability to independently manage complex matters and transactional workstreams
- Strong judgment, discretion, and client-facing communication skills
- Interest in mentoring and developing junior associates
