A leading national law firm seeks a talented senior associate or counsel to join its Labor & Employment Department. This is not a traditional employment law role: the team advises on high-stakes matters where workforce decisions directly affect enterprise value, leadership continuity, and transaction success.

Working closely with nationally ranked Healthcare, Private Equity, and M&A teams, you will counsel corporate clients and private equity sponsors on employment issues arising from acquisitions, divestitures, leadership transitions, restrictive covenant disputes, and post-closing integration. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a key resource to deal teams on sophisticated matters requiring strategic thinking, seasoned judgment, and the ability to move quickly.

This is an opportunity to build a practice blending strategic advisory work, risk assessment, transactional counseling, and crisis management in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment where contributions are visible and valued. The search is national, with a focus on several major US markets.

Senior associate or counsel-level experience in labor and employment law
Background in employment counseling and transactional employment support, ideally within corporate or private equity deal contexts
Experience with restrictive covenants, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and wage-and-hour and misclassification issues
Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage complex matters and workstreams independently
Ability to supervise and mentor junior associates and deliver timely, client-ready work product
