Apply in confidence →A partner-level appointment on this brief turns on the portability of the practice, far more than on any headline figure.
Senior construction lawyer sought to join a highly regarded national law firm’s Toronto construction practice. The role focuses on construction litigation and dispute resolution across complex commercial and infrastructure matters.
Candidates should be able to lead significant files, develop and maintain client relationships, and contribute to practice growth. The team is open to both established partners and junior partners with clear growth potential.
Joining options include income-partner arrangements with a defined path to equity (typical two-year track for more junior partners) or direct equity for senior hires with larger, established books.
- Portable book of business of CAD 2M+ (CAD)
- Proven experience in construction litigation and dispute resolution
- Demonstrated client-development skills and a track record of growing revenue
- Eligible to practise in Ontario (or able to qualify promptly)
If the fit is not obvious on paper, it is usually still worth talking — partner briefs move with the candidate.
