Lateral Partner — Corporate Commercial & Securities Litigation, Toronto

Well-established Canadian firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Toronto corporate commercial litigation team, with a heavy focus on securities litigation and public company matters. The role will handle high-value disputes for public and large private companies, and work for sophisticated investors and funds.

Open to partners at different career stages: junior partners (typically joining on an income-partner path with a clear route to equity) as well as senior partners. The team values candidates who can both litigate complex securities matters and help grow the practice.

• Proven experience in commercial and securities litigation, including public company and investor/hedge fund-related disputes.
• Established litigation track record in Toronto or national Canadian market.
• Portable book of business required; firm is open to both growing books and substantial established practices.
• Client development skills and ability to contribute to practice growth; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
