Lateral Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Research Triangle Park)

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join and grow its Corporate and Intellectual Property practices from the firm's Research Triangle Park office. The role will focus on high‑value corporate work (including M&A, corporate governance and emerging growth/startups) and IP matters, with an emphasis on patent litigation for candidates who bring strong litigation credentials.

The firm is open to candidates with a portable practice who can collaborate across multiple U.S. offices, especially in the Southeast, and who can help scale existing teams. Partnership terms, including equity and compensation structure, are assessed case-by-case and the team operates with flexible billing approaches across practices.

• Established partner or equivalent with a demonstrable portable book of business or strong origination capability
• Substantive experience in corporate transactions (M&A, governance) and/or IP litigation (patents preferred)
• Track record of client relationship management and team leadership; ability to work collaboratively across offices
• Comfort with handling both transactional and contentious matters and with flexible billing/engagement models
