Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A — New York

Leading global corporate practice seeks a lateral partner to join its New York M&A and transactional team. The role will focus on leading complex domestic and cross-border acquisitions, representing strategic and financial sponsors across high‑profile transactions.

The team offers deep transactional capabilities, institutional client relationships, and collaboration with practice groups across offices. The firm is looking for a partner who can step in to originate and lead deals immediately and who will contribute to business development and team mentorship.

• Established partner with a demonstrable track record in public and private M&A and complex transactional work
• Portable practice / proven ability to bring and develop client relationships
• Strong deal leadership, negotiation and drafting skills on high‑value transactions
• Ability to work collaboratively across international offices and with other practice groups
• Admission to the New York bar (or eligibility) and appropriate standing to practice
