Senior partner appointment to lead and expand a cross‑border shipping finance and restructuring practice. The role combines finance, restructuring and transportation work across the US and UK, advising lenders, borrowers and stakeholders on complex financing, workout and insolvency matters.

The hire will chair and grow the group, provide senior client coverage, and deepen US scale and platform support for an established maritime finance franchise. The team is selective and the role requires strategic succession planning and the ability to act as a clear deputy and long‑term leader.

Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
Established partner track record in shipping/maritime finance and related restructuring or workouts
Proven experience on cross‑border finance, insolvency and creditor/debtor advisory matters (US/UK focus)
Demonstrated business development and client relationship leadership at partner level
Experience building/managing teams and succession planning for a senior practice
