The role will focus on transactional and regulatory matters at the intersection of environmental law and real estate development, with regular engagement before government and regulatory bodies.
The team serves public-sector and private clients on complex site budgeting, permitting, due diligence, and remediation-linked transactions. The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial partner who will both manage a substantive practice and help grow business in the DC market.
- Established partner-level attorney with a portable practice focused on environmental and real estate transactions and related regulatory work.
- Track record advising on permitting, environmental due diligence, remediation risk allocation, and government/regulatory processes.
- Demonstrated client development ability and willingness to build a DC-focused book of business; firm is not seeking zero-book candidates.
- Comfort working with public-sector and private developer clients; entrepreneurial, team-oriented approach.
- Bar admission in DC or willingness to obtain admission.
