An established international law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Finance & Banking team in Muscat. The role focuses on advising regional and cross-border banks, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a range of lending and structured finance matters.

The team handles syndicated and bilateral lending, project and asset finance, and conventional and Islamic financing structures. The successful candidate will lead mandates, develop client relationships and work with an experienced regional practice group.

Senior partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions, with a strong regional or international track record.
Proven ability to originate and lead complex lending and structured finance deals.
Established, portable practice or client relationships preferred; demonstrated business development capability.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-management skills; ability to mentor junior lawyers and work across offices.
