Seeking a lateral partner to join a national finance and banking practice, focusing on commercial lending, syndicated and leveraged finance, and related transactional work. The role is suited to an established lender-side or bank-side practitioner able to originate and lead complex financings.

Position is being recruited on a location-agnostic basis with flexible arrangements for candidates in the Portland area. Compensation and evaluation will reflect a sliding-scale arrangement; the team operates with market-leading billing rates.

The firm is looking for a partner who can bring a portable practice or develop a strong book of business, contribute to client development and mentor junior lawyers within the platform.

Proven partner-level experience in finance and banking transactions (syndicated loans, leveraged and acquisition finance, asset-based lending, or similar).
Demonstrable client-development ability; portable practice preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills on complex financings.
Comfort working in a flexible/location-agnostic arrangement and leading deal teams.
