Seeking a lateral partner to join a major U.S. law firm’s Milwaukee office to lead and expand IP litigation work with a significant focus on healthcare and life sciences matters. The role will combine high-stakes patent and IP disputes with regulatory and industry-specific counseling for healthcare clients.

The position offers responsibility for originating and managing complex bet-the-company litigation, mentoring junior lawyers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the firm. Candidates with an existing portable practice in IP or healthcare litigation are encouraged to apply.

Partner-level experience with a track record of originating or leading IP litigation matters, ideally including patent litigation.
Substantial experience working with healthcare or life sciences clients and handling industry-specific regulatory and commercial disputes.
Proven trial and motion practice; strong client development and relationship-management skills.
Active bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction; portable book of business preferred.
